BSH ASM and its organisers are closely monitoring the situation following the current regulations and guidance set out by the UK Government, recommendations from public health experts, and the various protocols put in place by the venue, Manchester Central.
The safety of delegates, members, staff, and the wider patient population remains the top priority for BSH and its organisers. Please note this means BSH guidance may be more stringent than the legal requirements. We will regularly review the guidance around attending face-to-face in the lead up to the event and those attending will be notified in good time of the protocols in place.
BSH will make every effort to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmissions onsite.
The venue is currently undertaking the following:
- Enhanced cleaning of public areas and touch points
- Ventilation systems in the building regularly maintained with fresh air exchange maximised within the venue
- Reduction of touch points around the venue
- Hand sanitising stations available in all communal areas
Travel to the UK.

DO NOT attend or enter the building if you have Covid-19 Symptoms (high temperature, a new continuous cough or a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste, or other known COVID symptoms), you should self-isolate immediately and take a PCR test.
