ABOUT THE ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC MEETING

The British Society for Haematology Annual Scientific Meeting is the largest annual haematology event in the UK. We delivered our first online conference in 2020, reaching a wider global audience. More than 1400 delegates joined BSH 2020 Virtual, from over 50 countries.

Our annual meeting is a fantastic opportunity to update your knowledge, with a programme featuring current clinical practice and the latest research in haematology, as well as specialist sessions for nurses and trainees, and a chance to network with international experts.

BSH 60TH ANNIVERSARY

The first meeting of the British Society for Haematology (BSH) took place on 19 November 1960.  For 60 years BSH has been dedicated to helping members support people with blood disorders and diseases.  To mark our 60th anniversary, we have been exploring the breadth of roles within the multidisciplinary haematology team and acknowledging the contribution of haematology professionals to the advancement of medicine and the transformation of patient care.  Our anniversary activities will culminate in a ‘60@60’ online exhibition, to be held alongside ASM 2021. You can access the anniversary content on the BSH website.
